Attention: All NJ High School Cheer and Dance Coaches!
The New Jersey Cheer & Dance Coaches Association, NJCDCA, recognizes the importance of sportsmanship and the impact that cheer and dance teams have on building spirit at games, in school and in the community. The NJCDCA is pleased to offer the the NJCDCA Sportsmanship Award! This award recognizes the contributions that teams have made and their impact on exemplifying outstanding Sportsmanship throughout the State of New Jersey.
Sportsmanship recipients will be acknowledged with a banner at our spring awards luncheon. This award gives all teams an opportunity to share their commitment to enhance the value of sportsmanship and is a positive step in recognizing teams and coaches who exemplify great sportsmanship throughout the year.
All varsity high school cheer and dance teams across the State, regardless of their membership to NJCDCA, will be eligible to cast one vote for any varsity team within the state of New Jersey. Each school can cast one vote for one other team. Your vote should take into consideration teams that exemplify positive sportsmanship at games, school, competitions and/or community events.
The deadline to send your vote in is March 31, 2008. The voting form must be completed and signed by the Varsity Cheer/Dance Head Coach. In case your school has both a Varsity Cheer and Dance Team; we ask you work together to decide your school’s vote and both sign the form.
