Competitive Cheer
After serving as assistant coach for three years, Bonds, a 2002 graduate from the University of Maryland, took over the role as head coach for the 2006-07 season. Bonds has been a part of the competitive cheer coaching staff since the university recognized it as a varsity sport in 2003. In her first season as head coach, she helped led the team from a sixth place standing after the preliminary round on day one, to a repeat national title on day two. She also led the team to a come-from-behind win in 2008.

Kelly has a B.A. in Elementary Education and Mathematics from Hofstra University 2003, M.A. in Math, Science, Technology from Hofstra University 2007, Head Coach of the Hofstra University Dance Team, Director of Gravity Dance, Mathematics Teacher at West Islip High School, Former Head Coach of the Bellport High School Dance Team, Former Captain of the Hofstra University Dance Team, Former Universal Dance Association Instructor, Choreographer/ Consultant for dance teams and studios.

- Coached/Choreographed Bellport High School to a National Ranking of 4th at the 2009 NDA Nationals and Long Island Champions for all 9 years coaching
- Coached Hofstra University to a 2006 UDA National Hip Hop Championship, ranked in the top 10 of the Nation at UDA Nationals for all of those years
